COVID-19 FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

In order to give you a quick answer to your questions related to the current Covid-19 pandemic situation we put together a FAQ, which you can read here. If you do not find an answer to your question you can send us a message at the bottom of this page. 

Can I cancel my ticket order due to the coronavirus pandemic?

We have a 2-day cancellation policy. So if you bought the tickets within 2 days you can cancel the order. If you bought the tickets more than 2 days ago you cannot cancel the order. 

Until the grand prix is not cancelled we cannot cancel your order unfortunately. It is because the grand prix organizers do not accept any cancellation after an order was placed with them. 

Do you provide a refund if the grand prix gets cancelled?

Please note that some of the grand prix were cancelled and other grand prix were postponed to a new date. The refund policy below relates to grand prix which were cancelled.

If the event gets cancelled, we will provide a refund in accordance with 6.3 of our general terms and conditions: 

(1) The ticket price will be refunded to the extent we get the money back from the organizer of the grand prix or our ticket supplier. 

(2) We will not refund the handling fee / administration fees

(3) Shipping fee will be refunded if the tickets were not sent yet. If the tickets were already sent, we are unable to refund the shipping fee.

(4) We will refund the above amounts within 30 days after receiving the money back from the organizer / ticket supplier. Please note that it is an extraordinary task from all organizers and therefore it might take several weeks to process all the payments.

(5) Payments will be made in accordance with the original payment method you used for purchasing the tickets. If you paid by credit card, money will be sent back to your credit card. If you paid by bank transfer we will ask you to provide us your complete banking details and we will transfer the money back. 

Do you provide a refund if the grand prix was postponed?

The refund depends whether the grand prix organizer accepts cancellation or not. Currently many grand prix organizers are still working on their refund policy and they will only announce it when the new date of the grand prix was announced. Some other grand prix organizers might offer that the tickets will be valid for the new date of the grand prix or for 2021. Once we have more information we will contact you.

In case the organizers accept the cancellation request we will provide a refund in accordance with section 6.3 of our general terms and conditions. See details in the previous question.

Was my grand prix cancelled or postponed?

Please click on your grand prix on our main page (www.mygpticket.com) and you can find the most current status of the grand prix there. 

When do I get the money back if the race was cancelled?

We are a ticket agency only, so when you buy the tickets with us, we also purchase the tickets from the organizer of the grand prix or other ticket suppliers. As a consequence, we have to wait until the grand prix organizers transfers back the money to us. Once we receive the money from the organizer we will send you the money back, but no later than 30 days after getting the money back.
